This property is located in Sherman Township, in the Keweenaw County in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan – a Township along the Keweenaw Bay’s western shore - Near Lake Superior’s Hermit Bay. The Tobacco River is 14 miles long. It rises at the outlet of Thayer Lake and flows east, then south to Lake Superior, which it joins near the Village of Gay. The River is a stocked Brook Trout Stream. Lake Superior is the largest fresh water lake in the world! It offers some excellent fishing for black crappie, jumbo perch, northern pike, rock bass, smallmouth bass, tiger muskie and walleye and it offers good Coho salmon and Rainbow trout catches.
